Photo by Richard Miller These are the remains of the Austin Dam, located just north of Austin, PA, along State Route 872. The dam was destroyed on September 30, 1911. This area supports good hunting and fishing.

This amazing view can be found 10 miles from Wellsboro on Route 660 (just out of Potter County). The canyon is 50 miles long, 1,000 to 1,400 feet deep, and 1 to 1.5 miles wide.
